Project Description

Telling someone’s unique story requires strategy, organization and, of course, a bit of innate talent. Each assignment our writers take on is hand-selected to coincide with their writing style. Engaging and continuing to engage the reader/viewer is elemental for a writer, and that’s why our writing style works well for businesses. We have a plan from start to finish—like a blueprint for a book.

For our magazine article featuring Celebrity Chef Brian Malarkey, we felt it only fitting to display some of his quirky personality and pure joy for his job throughout the context of the story as well as in the photography. Malarkey’s bigger-than-life persona favored an everything-goes interview, which developed into one of our favorite published articles of all time.

EXCERPT: Escorted through the conspicuously placed glass doors into the legendary (like many of the establishments along this storied strip) Mondrian Hotel, I spot Actor Ron Livingston, known for playing the lead in ‘90s movies like “Office Space” and “Swingers.” He’s casually sipping coffee with colleagues, likely discussing his next big project. Everyone looks important. Everyone probably is important. I instantly realize that this was a superbly fitting choice for our subject’s newest restaurant. This place has a history, a story—always buzzing with celebs, and that’s exactly where we think Brian Malarkey should be.
